Community Open Day invites locals to experience life at The Shoreline
The Shoreline Retirement Living will open its doors to the community on Saturday 7 March 2026, inviting locals to explore the village, tour its facilities and experience the lifestyle on offer at Coffs Harbour’s most exclusive retirement living residential estate.
Located just moments from the beach and within walking distance of Park Beach Plaza, The Shoreline has quickly established itself as a sought-after address for independent retirement living. The Community Open Day comes ahead of the upcoming April release of The Watermark Apartments, part of the final stage of the development.
Visitors on the day will be able to take guided tours, view amenities, meet residents and staff, and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with a free barbecue and live music.
Residents Laine and Jim Down, who have lived at The Shoreline for more than three years, say the Open Day is a valuable opportunity for people considering their next move.
“Coming to The Shoreline was one of the best decisions we’ve made,” said Laine. “It’s given us security, peace of mind and a lifestyle that’s actually easier, without giving up our independence. If people are curious, the best thing they can do is come and see it for themselves.”
Jim agreed, adding that making the move earlier rather than later was key.
“We wish we’d done it sooner,” he said. “You don’t lose your lifestyle here, you gain time and freedom. The Open Day is a great way to get a real feel for what life is like.”
