The Shoreline Construction Update October 2021
October 2021
Our construction team have been hard at work, under the guidance of FM Glenn, and you will see The Shoreline is starting to look more like the luxury retirement living precinct it’s promising to be, rather than just a construction site.
We currently have 30 to 40 finishing contractors on the first 4 floors of the Saltwater Apartments busy installing kitchens and lighting. Glass balustrades on all balconies are also being installed with 75% now complete. The external rendering and painting is also nearly complete and has commenced on The Shoreline Aged Care building.
The Podium final concrete pour took place last week providing our residents with a gorgeous outdoor area where they can enjoy some exercise, gardening in our community garden or a quiet seat in our Zen Garden.
Whilst we have been slowed down over the last two weeks with excessive rain and storms rest assured we are working tirelessly to keep our project on track.

All external rendering and painting is now complete on the entire building.
It’s an exciting time with the scaffold being removed finally displaying the external design of the building on the podium side! This can be viewed from the York Street entrance.
The final car park structure and podium concrete was poured on Friday 22 October. This was a mammoth job which took more than 25 contractors about 7 hours to pour 193m3 of concrete.
This week we’ll see the first concrete slab for the Headland Terraces poured with all drainage and in–ground services completed.
