Last month the Bachrach Naumburger Group announced that the construction certificate for Stages 1 and 2 of The Shoreline at Park Beach had been issued by Coffs Harbour City Council and we are pleased to bring you a progress report this month.

Over the last five weeks the construction site has been a hive of activity with the construction of the external site fencing including rendering and painting almost complete giving future residents’ a good taste of what is to come.

Landscaping commenced near the Park Beach Plaza entrance ensuring maturity of the landscaping by the project completion.A new colourbond fence between the construction site and the neighbours has also been completed.

Screwed piles are well underway with an approximate depth 24m with 160 of the required 900 now installed by local Coffs Harbour contractor FM Glenn.

The tender/contract process has also commenced for the appointment of the builder.  It is still anticipated that once appointed the building will commence footings in October 2019.

The development will have 18 independent living ground level townhouses and 143 apartments in two apartment buildings.  The Shoreline Park Beach’s Residential Care Facility will be a ‘state of the art’ 120 bed ‘high needs’ facility with the complex also boasting a resort-style community centre, a pool, walking trail, extensive gardens and recreation facilities in a secure gated community bringing the North Coast something that the region has not yet seen.

The number of building jobs created through this development will be significant.   Once the construction is completed and the facility is fully operational it will be an impressive aged care and health hub that will employ in excess of 130 full time locals.
