Construction Has Commenced for our Senior Residential Care Facility

The development of the $100 Million senior residential care facility “The Shoreline” in Coffs Harbour has commenced today with the official turning of the soil at the site on the corner of Arthur and York Streets.
The Bachrach Naumburger Group, owners of Park Beach Plaza and Park Beach HomeBase have appointed local contractor Alan Johnson, AJ Civil Projects to manage the early works civil construction with Greg Benson from de Groot & Benson as the Project Manager.
The early works estimated costs are $7 million dollars, employing all local consultants, contractors and staff of approximately 80 to 100 people.
The development will include a 120-bed care facility, 162 independent living units, 18 villas and resort style community centre and large pool. Fully occupied the the site will house of 400 residents.
The design team including the architects Mark Boffa from Boffa Robertson Group and all consultants are finalising the design in anticipation for the project to commence building in early 2019. The project will create more than 180 jobs which will be mostly locally sourced and will take approximately 6 years to complete.
